Do you buy or hold our stock?
No. Representing is a pure brokerage — we never buy or hold inventory. Every order ships directly from your own warehouse to the retailer, so there's no overhead, no handling, and your margins stay protected.
What's the difference between a wholesale agency and a distributor?
A distributor buys your stock upfront, holds it in their own warehouse and takes a margin further than a wholesale price. As a wholesale agency, we handle the sales, relationships and account management, and every order ships directly from your own warehouse to the retailer. You keep full control of your store list, inventory and margins, while generating quick, direct feedback. We work with a smaller, curated portfolio to ensure your brand gets the love it deserves.
What categories do you work with?
We specialise in wellness, FMCG, supplements and beauty — Australian brands with real traction, often strong online, looking to grow into retail.
Do we need to already be selling wholesale?
Not at all. We work with brands at every stage — from launching your very first wholesale account to expanding an existing stockist list nationally.
Which retailers and regions do you cover?
We're based in Melbourne and work nationally across health food, grocery, pharmacy and independent retailers all over Australia. We service 850+ stores weekly.
How do you charge?
We work on a retainer model. We'll talk through what's right for your brand and stage on an initial call.
Do you take commission?
No — we don't take commission. We work on a retainer model instead, so all the margin you make stays with you to reinvest back into growing your brand.
What does Representing actually do day to day?
Cold outreach, national retail ranging and planogram placements, plus ongoing account management — in-store activations, staff training, visual merchandising, wholesale marketing, new product development and pricing strategy. Everything needed to get you on shelf and keep you selling.
